Integrate Hibernate with your Elasticsearch database - Hibernate Search

NoSQL databases have gained some well-deserved recognition in the past few years. Elasticsearch paired with search engine like Lucene is excellent for storing huge amount of data and running full-text queries. On the other hand there are still some shortcomings of NoSQL databases - limited query capabilities, being ill-suited to some types of data.

Hibernate Search with the help of just a few annotations allows us to get the best of both worlds. The presentation's goal is to showcase capabilities of Hibernate Search i.e. seamless integration between Lucene queries and hibernate. All that using good old EntityManager in Spring Application.
