Accenture Technology Vision - technology trends that will reshape business

Every year Accenture together with its network of experts take the effort to look into the future of technology, analyzing key developments across business and tech and forecasting trends that will reshape our world. This year's Technology Vision Report takes us on a trip to the metaverse, a continuum of technology and experience, reshaping business...

But what does it all mean? How will it impact the work of development teams and developers themselves?

In my talk I will discuss the key areas described in this years Tech Vision, including:

• the anticipation of a new Internet, which will emerge from the concepts of the Metaverse and Web3,
• the digital revolution of the physical world and the challenges around it,
• a synthetic reality created by the ever growing capabilites of AI,
• and briefly looking into the topic of supercomputers, which are expanding our cognitive boundaries and taking human research to a completely new level.

This talk will not be a presentation of the report, rather an attempt to discuss the content to inspire you to reflect on the current developments in technology and business and how it will impact the work of developers.
